Responsibilities

  • Help maintain Baianat image, voice, identity and presence through online and offline channels.
  • Strategize and plan for Baianat efforts in PR.
  • Monitor and analyze effectiveness of PR campaigns and communicate insights to the rest of the team.
  • Manage media relations and requests.
  • Prepare presentations for media briefings and other meetings.
  • Write press releases, media announcements, speeches and other PR copy.
  • Plan and supervise events, fairs, conferences etc.
  • Evaluate advertising and promotion programs to determine whether they are compatible with their organization’s public relations efforts.
  • Provide effective crisis management solutions in the times of need.
  • Suggest effective ways of peaceful resolving any internal or external disputes
  • Lead survey initiatives and analyze public opinion.
  • Draft speeches and arrange interviews for Baianat team members.
  • Build and maintain targeted media lists, and nurture relationships with everyone on this list.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders including public affairs offices, consumer organizations, and professional societies.


Requirements

  • Degree in PR, communications, journalism or relevant field.
  • Previous experience as public relations specialist or similar position is preferred.
  • Experience in copywriting and editing.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude in presentation and public speaking.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with a variety of different PR campaigns is a plus.
